Kids summary (simpler)Tap to expand

Gallade is the Blade Pokémon — Psychic and Fighting from male Kirlia (Dawn Stone). In Pokémon GO it is a Fighting/Psychic attacker and can Mega Evolve into Mega Gallade. Fighting helps against Normal, Rock, Steel, Ice, and Dark; Psychic helps against Fighting and Poison. Flying, Ghost, and Fairy punish it. Leaf Blade from Ralts Community Day (or an Elite TM) is a key charged move.

Mega Evolution

Gallade can Mega Evolve into Mega Gallade (still Psychic / Fighting). Mega Evolution uses Candy plus Mega Gallade Energy, boosts Fighting attackers in the raid lobby, and only one Mega or Primal can be active at a time. Shadow Gallade cannot Mega Evolve — purify first if you want the Mega.
