Kids summary (simpler)Tap to expand

Camerupt is the Eruption Pokémon — Fire and Ground from Numel. In Pokémon GO it is a Fire/Ground attacker and can Mega Evolve into Mega Camerupt. Fire helps against Grass, Bug, Ice, and Steel; Ground helps against Fire, Electric, Poison, Rock, and Steel. Water hits it very hard (double weakness). Evolve Numel or catch Camerupt from events and Rocket Leaders.

Mega Evolution

Camerupt can Mega Evolve into Mega Camerupt (still Fire / Ground). Mega Evolution uses Candy plus Mega Camerupt Energy, boosts Fire attackers in the raid lobby, and only one Mega or Primal can be active at a time. Shadow Camerupt cannot Mega Evolve — purify first if you want the Mega.
