Pokédex notes

Mega Charizard X is a Fire / Dragon Mega form in GO. It needs Candy plus Mega Charizard X Energy (not Y Energy). Different weaknesses than Y — check the type chart before you raid. Only one Mega/Primal can be active; see the Mega Evolution guide.

Where in GO: Mega Evolve Charizard during Mega events and raids that award X Energy

Fun fact: X trades Flying for Dragon — Rock still hurts, but Electric is less scary than on the Y form.

Invest tip: Farm X Mega Energy from featured Mega raids and events. Prefer X when you want Dragon coverage; prefer Y for classic Fire / Flying raid boosting.
