Gengar is the Shadow Pokémon — Ghost and Poison from Gastly → Haunter → Gengar. In Pokémon GO it is a top Ghost attacker and can Mega Evolve into Mega Gengar. Ghost helps against Ghost and Psychic; Poison helps against Fairy and Grass. Ground, Psychic, Ghost, and Dark punish it. Shadow Punch from Gastly Community Day (or an Elite TM) is a key charged move.
