Kids summary (simpler)Tap to expand
Glalie is the Face Pokémon — Ice from Snorunt. In Pokémon GO it is an Ice attacker and can Mega Evolve into Mega Glalie. Ice helps against Dragon, Flying, Grass, and Ground; Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel hit Ice hard. Avalanche from Snorunt Community Day (or an Elite TM) is its best Ice charged move. Evolve Snorunt or catch Glalie from events.

Type matchups
- Ice moves hit Grass, Ground, Flying, and Dragon hard.
When Glalie is your opponent, Fire, Fighting, Rock, Steel hits hard.
Full type matchup guide →Mega Evolution
Glalie can Mega Evolve into Mega Glalie (still Ice). Mega Evolution uses Candy plus Mega Glalie Energy, boosts Ice attackers in the raid lobby, and only one Mega or Primal can be active at a time. Shadow Glalie cannot Mega Evolve — purify first if you want the Mega.
