Remote Raids & Family Etiquette

Remote raid pass basics

• **One invite** per pass — join a friend's lobby from anywhere
• **Friendship requirement** — must be friends in GO (Great Friends+ for some features)
• **Daily limit** — watch Niantic's current cap (changes with events)

**Family rule:** Parents hold passes for **legendary weekends**; kids ping in Family Trades or text when a lobby opens — no spam invites to strangers.

Lobby etiquette (kids + adults)

1. **Accept invites promptly** — lobbies expire in ~90 seconds 2. **Bring counters** — check Companion raid page before joining 3. **Remote players stay in** — do not leave at 10 seconds if you committed a pass 4. **One lobby at a time** — do not join two remote raids you cannot finish 5. **Thank in chat** — quick "ty" keeps friends sending invites

Best Friends bonus reminder

**Best Friends** get **+10% damage** in raids together. Stack with **same-team friends** when possible. See **Best Friends & Lucky Friends** for leveling steps.

Remote trade vs meet up

Always **accept the proposal in Companion first** so everyone agrees before spending Stardust.

Team Rocket on raid day

If grunts spawn during a raid hour, **finish the raid lobby first** — do not ghost remote hosts for a grunt unless everyone agreed.
