Community Day Prep Checklist

One week before

• [ ] **Check featured Pokémon** — official GO blog + in-app news
• [ ] **Stock Pinap Berries** — double candy while catching
• [ ] **Clear bag space** — aim for **200+ open slots** (more if multiple kids play)
• [ ] **Save Stardust** — exclusive move may need power-ups after evolve
• [ ] **List wants in Family Trades** — who needs shiny, XXS, or high-IV copy

Eve of event (family huddle)

• [ ] **Incense / Star Piece** — decide who uses paid items
• [ ] **Evolution plan** — write down **start/end time** for exclusive move window (usually last 2 hours)
• [ ] **Nickname tricks** — verify current evolution methods (many Eevee tricks still work once each)
• [ ] **Elite TM backup** — if you miss the window, note whether ETM can fix it later

During Community Day

• [ ] **Play together** — same park or voice chat for remote
• [ ] **Appraise top catches** before mass transfer
• [ ] **Mark shinies** in Family Trades offer list if trading within family
• [ ] **Do not evolve early** unless the guide confirms early move access

Starters & Eeveelutions reminder

Community Day reruns often hit **starter lines** and **Dragon/Fairy meta picks**. Keep:

• One high-IV non-shiny for battles
• One shiny for collection
• One "trade copy" if a sibling still needs it

After event

• [ ] Evolve during bonus window
• [ ] Second charged move only on Pokémon you'll use in PvP
• [ ] Update wishlist / goal lists in Companion
