Tyrogue

Say it: TY-ro-gue

Kids summary (simpler)Tap to expand

Tyrogue is the Scuffle Pokémon — Fighting before Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, or Hitmontop (evolution depends on Attack vs Defense stats — confirm live). In Pokémon GO it is candy and an evolution puzzle — not a finished raid attacker. Fighting helps against Normal, Rock, Steel, Ice, and Dark; Psychic and Fairy hit Fighting hard. Hatch Tyrogue from eggs or catch from events, then evolve.

Say it: TY-ro-gue

Tyrogue (#236) is a Fighting Pokémon in Pokémon GO — the baby stage of the Hitmon line. Trainers almost never power Tyrogue for raids; the value is candy, IVs, and the evolution you want (Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, or Hitmontop). Against Tyrogue, lead with Psychic or Fairy. Pokédex notes

Tyrogue is a Fighting-type Pokémon in Pokémon GO. National Dex #0236. Use the Fighting type chart below before powering up — metas shift every season.

Where in GO: Wild spawns, eggs, Field Research, and seasonal events

Invest tip: Do not sink Stardust into Tyrogue. Tag high-IV copies for the Hitmon evolution you want — check Attack vs Defense IVs before evolving. Shadow Tyrogue is the same — evolve after Frustration removal.
