Spheal

Say it: SPH-ea-l

Kids summary (simpler)Tap to expand

Spheal is the Clap Pokémon — Ice and Water before Sealeo and Walrein. In Pokémon GO it is usually candy on the way to Walrein — not a finished raid attacker. Ice helps against Dragon, Flying, Grass, and Ground; Water helps against Fire, Ground, and Rock. Fire, Fighting, Grass, Electric, and Rock punish it. Catch Spheal from the wild, eggs, or events, then evolve.

Spheal (#363) is an Ice / Water Pokémon in Pokémon GO — the baby stage of Walrein. Trainers almost never power Spheal for raids; the value is candy and IVs for Walrein. Against Spheal, lead with Fire, Fighting, Grass, Electric, or Rock. Stats, type chart, moves, and counter picks below use our Game Master snapshot.
