Smoochum

Kids summary (simpler)Tap to expand
Smoochum is the Kiss Pokémon — Ice and Psychic before Jynx. In Pokémon GO it is usually candy on the way to Jynx — not a finished raid attacker. Ice helps against Dragon, Flying, Grass, and Ground; Psychic helps against Fighting and Poison. Bug, Ghost, Dark, Rock, Steel, and Fire punish it. Hatch from 7 km eggs or catch from events, then evolve.
Say it: SMOO-chu-m
Smoochum (#238) is an Ice / Psychic Pokémon in Pokémon GO — the baby stage of Jynx. Trainers almost never power Smoochum for raids; the value is candy and IVs for Jynx. Against Smoochum, lead with Bug, Ghost, Dark, Rock, Steel, or Fire. Stats, type chart, moves, and counter picks below use our Game Master snapshot.
