Skiploom
Say it: SKI-ploo-m
Kids summary (simpler)Tap to expand
Skiploom is the Cottonweed Pokémon — Grass and Flying before Jumpluff. In Pokémon GO it is usually candy on the way to Jumpluff — not a finished raid attacker. Grass helps against Water, Ground, and Rock; Flying helps against Grass, Fighting, and Bug. Ice, Fire, Poison, Flying, and Rock punish it. Catch Hoppip/Skiploom from the wild, eggs, or events, then evolve.

Skiploom (#188) is a Grass / Flying Pokémon in Pokémon GO — the middle stage of Jumpluff. Trainers almost never power Skiploom for raids; the value is candy and IVs for Jumpluff. Against Skiploom, lead with Ice, Fire, Poison, Flying, or Rock. Stats, type chart, moves, and counter picks below use our Game Master snapshot.
