Shieldon

Say it: SHIE-ldo-n

Kids summary (simpler)Tap to expand

Shieldon is the Shield Pokémon — Rock and Steel before Bastiodon. In Pokémon GO it is usually candy on the way to Bastiodon — not a finished raid attacker. Rock helps against Fire, Ice, Flying, and Bug; Steel helps against Fairy, Ice, and Rock. Fighting and Ground hit it hard. Catch Shieldon from the wild, eggs, or events, then evolve.

Say it: SHIE-ldo-n

Shieldon (#410) is a Rock / Steel Pokémon in Pokémon GO — the baby stage of Bastiodon. Trainers almost never power Shieldon for raids; the value is candy and IVs for Bastiodon. Against Shieldon, lead with Fighting or Ground. Stats, type chart, moves, and counter picks below use our Game Master snapshot.
