Metang
Say it: ME-ta-ng
Kids summary (simpler)Tap to expand
Metang is the Iron Claw Pokémon — Steel and Psychic middle stage between Beldum and Metagross. In Pokémon GO it is usually candy on the way to Metagross — not a finished raid attacker. Steel/Psychic hits Fairy and Fighting well; Fire, Ghost, Dark, and Ground punish it. Evolve Beldum up the line. Meteor Mash from Beldum Community Day belongs on Metagross.
Say it: ME-ta-ng
Metang (#375) is a Steel / Psychic Pokémon in Pokémon GO — the middle evolution of Beldum. Trainers almost never power Metang for raids; the value is candy and IVs for Metagross (and Mega Metagross). Against Metang, lead with Fire, Ghost, Dark, or Ground. Stats, type chart, moves, and counter picks below use our Game Master snapshot.
