Magneton
Say it: MAG-neh-ton
Kids summary (simpler)Tap to expand
Magneton is the Magnet Pokémon — Electric and Steel middle stage between Magnemite and Magnezone. In Pokémon GO it is usually candy on the way to Magnezone — not a finished raid attacker. Electric/Steel hits Water, Flying, and Fairy well; Ground hits it for 4×. Evolve Magnemite, then Magnezone near a Magnetic Lure (or Thunder Stone — confirm live).
Say it: MAG-neh-ton
Magneton (#082) is an Electric / Steel Pokémon in Pokémon GO — the middle evolution of Magnemite. Trainers almost never power Magneton for raids long-term; the value is candy and IVs for Magnezone. Against Magneton, lead with Ground (best), or Fire or Fighting. Stats, type chart, moves, and counter picks below use our Game Master snapshot.

Pokédex notes
Magneton is a Electric / Steel-type Pokémon in Pokémon GO. National Dex #0082. Electric counters dominate Water raids — pair with weather when possible.
Where in GO: Wild spawns, eggs, Field Research, and seasonal events
Invest tip: Prefer evolving to Magnezone before big Stardust spends. Shadow Magneton is the same — evolve toward Shadow Magnezone after Frustration removal.
