Fletchling

Say it: FLE-tchl-ing

Kids summary (simpler)Tap to expand

Fletchling is the Tiny Robin Pokémon — Normal and Flying before Fletchinder and Talonflame. In Pokémon GO it is usually candy on the way to Talonflame — not a finished raid attacker. Flying helps against Fighting, Bug, and Grass; Rock hits it for 4×. Catch Fletchling from the wild, eggs, Community Day, or events, then evolve. Incinerate from Fletchling Community Day belongs on Talonflame.

Say it: FLE-tchl-ing

Fletchling (#661) is a Normal / Flying Pokémon in Pokémon GO — the baby stage of Talonflame. Trainers almost never power Fletchling for raids; the value is candy and IVs for Fletchinder/Talonflame (and Incinerate). Against Fletchling, lead with Rock, Electric, or Ice. Pokédex notes

Fletchling is a Normal / Flying-type Pokémon in Pokémon GO. National Dex #0661. Normal types need coverage moves — check our moveset guide before spending TMs.

Where in GO: Wild spawns, eggs, Field Research, and seasonal events

Invest tip: Do not sink Stardust into Fletchling. Keep high-IV or Shadow copies tagged for Talonflame. Save Elite TMs for Talonflame’s Incinerate. Shadow Fletchling is the same — evolve toward Shadow Talonflame.

Type matchups

  • Normal moves do not have a common super-effective target in our chart.
  • Flying moves hit Grass, Fighting, and Bug hard.

When Fletchling is your opponent, Electric, Ice, Rock hits hard.
