Combusken

Kids summary (simpler)Tap to expand

Combusken is the Young Fowl Pokémon — Fire and Fighting middle stage between Torchic and Blaziken. In Pokémon GO it is usually candy on the way to Blaziken — not a finished raid attacker. Fire/Fighting hits Grass, Bug, Ice, and Steel well; Water, Ground, Flying, and Psychic punish it. Evolve Torchic up the line. Blast Burn from Torchic Community Day belongs on Blaziken.

Say it: CO-mbu-ske-n

Combusken (#256) is a Fire / Fighting Pokémon in Pokémon GO — the middle evolution of Torchic. Trainers almost never power Combusken for raids; the value is candy and IVs for Blaziken (and Blast Burn / Mega Blaziken). Against Combusken, lead with Water, Ground, Flying, or Psychic.
