Charcadet

Say it: CHA-rca-de-t

Kids summary (simpler)Tap to expand

Charcadet is the Fire Child Pokémon — Fire before Armarouge (Psychic buddy path) or Ceruledge (Ghost buddy path). In Pokémon GO it is usually candy on the way to a final form — not a finished raid attacker. Fire helps against Grass, Bug, Ice, and Steel; Water, Ground, and Rock hit Fire hard. Catch Charcadet from the wild, eggs, or events, then evolve after the buddy battle requirement.

Say it: CHA-rca-de-t

Charcadet (#935) is a Fire Pokémon in Pokémon GO — the shared pre-evolution of Armarouge and Ceruledge. Trainers almost never power Charcadet for raids; the value is candy and IVs for the path you choose. Against Charcadet, lead with Water, Ground, or Rock. Pokédex notes

Charcadet is a Fire-type Pokémon in Pokémon GO. National Dex #0935. Use the Fire type chart below before powering up — metas shift every season.

Where in GO: Wild spawns, eggs, Field Research, and seasonal events

Invest tip: Do not sink Stardust into Charcadet. Decide Armarouge vs Ceruledge before you spend the buddy battles, then evolve. Shadow Charcadet is the same — evolve toward the Shadow final form you want.

Type matchups

  • Fire moves hit Grass, Ice, Bug, and Steel hard.
