Boldore

Say it: BO-ldo-re

Kids summary (simpler)Tap to expand

Boldore is the Ore Pokémon — Rock middle stage between Roggenrola and Gigalith. In Pokémon GO it is usually candy on the way to Gigalith — not a finished raid attacker. Rock helps against Fire, Ice, Flying, and Bug; Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground, and Steel hit Rock hard. Evolve Roggenrola up the line. Meteor Beam from Roggenrola Community Day belongs on Gigalith.

Boldore (#525) is a Rock Pokémon in Pokémon GO — the middle evolution of Roggenrola. Trainers almost never power Boldore for raids; the value is candy and IVs for Gigalith (and Meteor Beam). Against Boldore, lead with Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground, or Steel. Stats, type chart, moves, and counter picks below use our Game Master snapshot.
