Bergmite
Say it: BE-rgm-ite
Kids summary (simpler)Tap to expand
Bergmite is the Ice Chunk Pokémon — Ice before Avalugg (and Hisuian Avalugg). In Pokémon GO it is usually candy on the way to Avalugg — not a finished raid attacker. Ice helps against Dragon, Ground, Flying, and Grass; Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel hit Ice hard. Catch Bergmite from the wild, eggs, or events, then evolve.
Say it: BE-rgm-ite
Bergmite (#712) is an Ice Pokémon in Pokémon GO — the pre-evolution of Avalugg. Trainers almost never power Bergmite for raids; the value is candy and IVs for Avalugg (or Hisuian Avalugg). Against Bergmite, lead with Fire, Fighting, Rock, or Steel. Stats, type chart, moves, and counter picks below use our Game Master snapshot.

Invest tip: Do not sink Stardust into Bergmite. Keep high-IV copies for Avalugg. Shadow Bergmite is the same — evolve toward Shadow Avalugg if that is the goal.
