Baltoy
Say it: BA-ltoy
Kids summary (simpler)Tap to expand
Baltoy is the Clay Doll Pokémon — Ground and Psychic before Claydol. In Pokémon GO it is usually candy on the way to Claydol — not a finished raid attacker. Ground helps against Fire, Electric, Poison, Rock, and Steel; Psychic helps against Fighting and Poison. Water, Grass, Ice, Bug, Ghost, and Dark punish it. Catch Baltoy from the wild, eggs, or events, then evolve.
Say it: BA-ltoy
Baltoy (#343) is a Ground / Psychic Pokémon in Pokémon GO — the pre-evolution of Claydol. Trainers almost never power Baltoy for raids; the value is candy and IVs for Claydol. Against Baltoy, lead with Water, Grass, Ice, Bug, Ghost, or Dark. Stats, type chart, moves, and counter picks below use our Game Master snapshot.

Invest tip: Do not sink Stardust into Baltoy. Keep high-IV copies for Claydol. Shadow Baltoy is the same — evolve toward Shadow Claydol if that is the goal.
