Azumarill

Kids summary (simpler)Tap to expand

Azumarill is the Aqua Rabbit Pokémon — Water and Fairy from Azurill → Marill → Azumarill. In Pokémon GO it is a Great League legend with Bubble + Ice Beam / Play Rough / Hydro Pump. Water helps against Fire, Ground, and Rock; Fairy helps against Dragon, Fighting, and Dark. Poison, Grass, and Electric punish it. Evolve Marill or catch Azumarill from the wild and events.

Say it: AZ-oo-MARE-ill

Azumarill (#184) is a Water / Fairy Pokémon in Pokémon GO — the final form of the Marill line. Trainers use it almost exclusively for Great League (and sometimes Ultra League) PvP; it is not a top raid Water attacker. Against Azumarill, lead with Poison, Grass, or Electric. Invest tip: Bubble + Ice Beam / Play Rough / Hydro Pump is the classic Great League kit; Rock Smash is the alternate fast move. Invest XL candy for Level 50 GL. Shadow Azumarill hits harder but loses bulk — usually worse for its niche. No Community Day exclusive is required.

Type matchups

  • Water moves hit Fire, Ground, and Rock hard.
  • Fairy moves hit Fighting, Dragon, and Dark hard.

When Azumarill is your opponent, Electric, Grass, Poison hits hard.
