Appletun

Say it: APPL-etu-n

Kids summary (simpler)Tap to expand

Appletun is the Apple Nectar Pokémon — Grass and Dragon from Applin (sweet apple path). In Pokémon GO, Grass helps against Water, Ground, and Rock; Dragon helps against other Dragons. Ice hits it very hard (double weakness). Catch Applin and evolve with the sweet apple item, or catch Appletun from events.

Appletun (#842) is a Grass / Dragon Pokémon in Pokémon GO — one final form of Applin (with Flapple on the other path). Trainers use it as a bulky Great League Grass/Dragon option with Bullet Seed + Dragon Pulse / Seed Bomb, not as a top raid attacker. Against Appletun, lead with Ice (best), or Flying, Poison, Bug, Fairy, or Dragon. Stats, type chart, moves, and counter picks below use our Game Master snapshot.
